Community News – Central Coast…

Ronald McDonald Family Room Gosford is a comfortable haven where families can escape the hospital environment. Visiting or staying with a child in hospital can be both physically and emotionally draining. The Family Room is open for everyone in the family providing somewhere for the kids to play, a kitchen to prepare refreshments, bathroom and laundry facilities.

Any family who has a child patient in the Gosford Hospital in the following wards is welcome in the Family Room: Children’s ward, NICU, ICU, Paediatric Outpatient Clinics and Maternity.

Basic refreshments are available when staying at the Family Room, or you are welcome to bring food from home and either refrigerate or heat using our facilities. Complimentary toiletries and laundry powder are also provided.
